Easy way to avoid amendments: Marital Status

When submitting contracts, please make sure to include the appropriate marital status to avoid having to make an amendment later.

From Security 1st:

We just need whatever their marital status might be to follow their names when listed as the buyers on the contract..

 - Jane Doe, a single person or a married person if individual person OR

 - John and Jane Doe, husband and wife / a married couple etc.

You have quite a few people buy as investors as well so even if multiple people, but maybe purchasing with a business partner rather than spouse, still do their name and status for each individual listed.

It's kind of a pain but is definitely helpful with both Missouri and Kansas being marital interest states. That way we aren't a couple days away from closing trying to track down spouses or surprising anyone with the fact that their spouse has to sign.
