7-Pre-Construction

It's time. The home has been permitted, and it's time to break ground. The pre-construction phase of the customer journey brings delight, optimism and a sense of relief. 

This is the first opportunity for the Community Manager to create a peak moment for the consumer. Depending on the buyer's personality, the CM should choose one of these activities. 

  1. Golden shovel groundbreaking photo at the homesite. 
  2. Photo of the buyer holding their design selections. 
  3. Allow the buyer to capture a small jar of dirt from their homesite. 
  4. Capture video of the buyers walking their homesite. 
  5. Photos with buyers wearing hard hats on their homesite. 
  6. Selfie-style photo with the CM and the buyer. 
  7. Review the buyer story and surprise the buyer with their favorite food/drink.
