Bathroom Notes, Code, ETC.
Vanity Note
- Each vanity on our plans is accompanied by a note specifying the vanity size of the base cabinet in inches. This note indicates the exact length of the vanity cabinet to ensure the proper size is installed in each bathroom, and that all other bathroom fixtures are positioned in compliance with applicable codes.
Where is this note located?
- This note can be found on the edge or corner of each vanity in the plan. For instance, the bathroom below features a vanity with a note reading "V36," indicating that the vanity cabinet is 36 inches wide, or 3 feet.

Why is this important?
- Ensuring the correct vanity size is ordered for each bathroom is crucial for proper installation. It guarantees that the other plumbing fixtures will fit appropriately and comply with code requirements for the necessary spacing. Additional information regarding the standard bathroom code requirements can be found on the following page.
